At the heart of Jemini is a focus on people, their engagement with others and their relationship with the business. It is a singular focus that cannot be achieved by re-factoring older software, it is the unique DnA of Jemini that has been there since the beginning.

Jemini is designed to allow a business to manage an entire person’s employment lifecycle in a pragmatic manner.

Focusing on upcoming technology

Jemini is a paradigm shift designed with a focus on the next generations. Jemini provides a new way of working, through its efficiency of design, it is not a system driven by forms and tabs. It is a truly human-focused-design.

The Power of 9

Jemini’s framework conforms to the Jemini Power of 9. It plays to the psychological concept of Miller’s Law; that 7 +/- 2 items are the optimal number of objects that the short-term memory can handle.

The Power of 9 is at the forefront of Jemini's design, with 9 core screen designs, and no more than 9 elements included within each item.

Miller's Law

The Cognitive Psychologist George A. Miller pointed out the seven-item limitation of working memory in a 1956 article, “The magical number seven, plus or minus two: Some limits on our capacity for processing information.”  The article was published in the early days of the encoding revolution. Some say that it started the whole idea of using computer concepts like information processing to understand human memory.

We have discovered that many organisations experience inefficiency in the way implementations are carried out.

Customers looking to move to Jemini will first work with Fusion5 to develop an understanding of their business landscape, culture, processes, the requirements of the organisation and how these translate to Jemini.

The intention is that our customers can look back after implementation and see that they have achieved the objectives which were highlighted through the advisory process.

HR has traditionally been a stand-alone department focusing on recruitment, performance, employee relations, compensation management, administering payroll, performance management, and perhaps training and development. Traditional HR is all about process and procedure.

The changing workforce, the war on talent, and employees' expectations and needs significantly shifting, means the traditional HR department can no longer effectively support your business, it’s people and the culture.

The transition from traditional HR to modern and strategic HR, is a difficult one. Ultimately, the employees' experiences impact the business' performance. HR has the power to design the employee experience.

Fusion5 has developed a way to help organisations design their employee experience through our Jemini DnA (Discovery & Advisory) process.
